I'm Growing Up

Today I had our dealer remove our Superglide Hitch from our 2011 truck we are trading it in, we should have the new truck in about a week. Moving from a 2011 3500CC SB Silverado to a 2016 GMC 3500 Denali full bed. Our Superglide served us well over 10 years across two different trucks. Now it is time to move on but we will stay with Pullrite, a Super Fifth 20K hitch with ISR (industry standard rails. The reason we are staying with Pullrite is the locking mechanism on the hitch. We just love it. After 10 years of use our dealer is actually buying it back for some $$ to put on the new Super Fifth 20K hitch. Its like saying goodbye to a good friend!

  • I just went to a 3500 Chevy drw and left the Superglide in there.... Why change.
  • Why leave rails in a new truck bed??? That is a PITA IMHO. Latching mechanism is important it sounds like. I would suggest a B&W TurnoverBall leaves the bed clear and a 20K B&W Companion.
  • I had a Pullrite Super 5th in my previous truck and loved it. Would have bought another for the current truck but they did not have one at the time to fit the Ford factory hitch prep. But my Reese Elite has a wrap around latch similar to the Pullrite and it does fit the puck system and I am happy with it also.
