Imcomplete Winterization on New Cedar Creek

Picked up our new Cedar Creek in October and had it winterized after we finished our walk thru. Today Hubby was starting to pack up for our trip to Florida Jan 2 when he decided to load the 2 Million paper plates I had into the outdoor kitchen. When he popped open the door he found the faucet had fallen off and there was water coming out of it. The dealership probably forgot to check for the outside kitchen. We will call tomorrow but have little hope that we will get to Florida. Bathroom is in the mid front, kitchen in the middle and outside kitchen on the back side. Hubby doesn't want to tackle the repairs in the cold. Ideas? Suggestions?
  • I'd turn off the water pump and wait till Florida and warm weather to worry about it. Plenty of places in FL to get it fixed.
  • What a bummer Chrismats gift...and the dealer is going to get coal in their stockings this year too if they don't fix it yesterday.

And what could be another one of those " It's your fault for not checking and you should have know, now it's your responsibility" issues, I can't wait to hear the outcome on this one...

Did you have any leak into the interior space? If it saturated anything and it froze, it could be a bigger time bomb than you may think. Look it over real, real good. Get into every space use a mirror if you have too ..good luck come back and tell us what happens.
  • I'd be talking to the owner/GM of the dealership. They need to send someone over to you to fix it. Hopefully that will be the only problem and not cracked fittings in the water system feeding the outside sink.
  • How would that help? If there is a break then it could occur anywhere on the lines. There wasn't any pink coming out. The entire faucet broke off so there had to be a fair amount of water in the lines.
  • Is there a shut off on the water lines feeding that sink?
