- 2_RetiredExplorerDid it and no problems! It looks great and seems to be wearing very well. As already stated, just make sure you have clearance for it. Seems removing the existing carpeting gave us more than enough space for the good laminate.
- alboyExplorerI installed 12 mil ac4 commercial rated laminate thru out except the slide areas. You will need to float the floor but glue the laminate at the joints.I would prob stick with a 8 mil for slide clearance,i was touch and go at 12.4 mil.We love the ease of maintenance with 2 yorkies going in and out.
- ScottGNomadyou could buy just one box, click them together in front of the slide and see what happens.
- colliehaulerExplorer IIII put Allure and carpet in mine. I put new carpet on the slide and just a narrow piece on the main floor and Allure everywhere else.
- B_O__PlentyExplorer IIPeel and stick tiles will not stay in place. When the trailer was built new the linoleum was loose laid, then the trailer was built on top of it. With the temperature extremes I don't know of a glue that would hold. Just layout a sheet of linoleum and cut it to fit around the perimeter. Hold the edges down with quarter round, open beer, done...
B.O. - ventrmanExplorerThere is carpet in the Living Room as well as the Slide. The Slide comes flush with the Bottom Carpet. The Carpet on the Slide overlaps the other Carpet. It would be so much easier to clean without the Carpet. I am looking here for Ideas. Maybe some wood grain peel and stick Tiles would work. What do Y'all think?
- FrankShoreExplorerHow much leeway do you have between your current floor and the slideout? You could get something in there that's cool looking buy just way to thick!
