Inverter off while running the generator?
My hauler has one lithium battery, 1800 inverter n a 5500 onan gen.. When using the gen.. Do I need to turn off the inverter or does it matter if it's on.

- until you find out if you have a automatic transfer i would turn it off.
remember to turn your converter on and off when going to inverter - well Im assuming i have it cuz its a brand new unit.. 2020 attitude 3218mm it has the 1800 xantrex inverter..but either way im gonna turn off inverter before starting gen
- Any proper install will include a transfer switch and there will be no harm to running the generator, plugging in or running the inverter at the same time.
