Almost all of the RV shows in Phoenix are put on by La Mesa with no other dealers present. These are the ones often at the Civic Center or at the Cardinals stadium in Glendale. They have a show almost every month. It is nice to look at RV's indoors this time of year!
Trouble with their shows is you're seeing nothing more than you can see at their dealership.
Last Oct we attended the Pomona show and that was a show. Next month we head to Hershey.
That was my thought, too. I =still= can't figure out, with the huge #'s of snowbirds here, why there isn't a major, multi-dealer, RV show here in the Nov/Dec time frame. Quartzite doesn't count, as that's been basically a single-dealer show, too. I went to one last year, over at Diablo Stadium in Tempe to look at a couple specific FWs and have regretted ever since not taking more time to look at others, as well. I sure hope they do it again.

We have dealt with La Mesa RV in Phoenix twice and feel pretty good with what we have. The service department in Mesa is better than the 75th Ave. Depends on what brand FW you want if new, or if used you would probably be better off buying from an individual. Three are many free RV shows in Phoenix that let you talk with many dealers and get some great deals
I found the opposite with the Avondale La Mesa service being excellent and not so good at Mesa. Might depend on your service agent you get.

You ever wonder why there are so many kinds of heavy duty trucks out there? Day cabs, sleepers, single axle or dual? It's because different needs require different tools. You just have to pick the truck that's right for you. There's no one size fits all regardless of what you may read here.
Yeah but them truckers don't read RV forums and haven't learned that they can never have too much truck. :R - Dave_H_MExplorer II

There it is short and sweet. I don't know why I usually read all the long bed, dually, diesel type threads. My needs are taken care of by a short bed crew cab gasser. They all work, it just is what your requirements are. - Sport45Explorer IIYou ever wonder why there are so many kinds of heavy duty trucks out there? Day cabs, sleepers, single axle or dual? - ChicatExplorerI would definitely recommend a long bed, it gives us extra storage space for equipment plus it allows for a large tool box/extra fuel tank behind the cab.
- AllworthExplorer III have to agree with KW. The improved ride due to the longer wheelbase makes it worth the occasional parking problem.
