Power cam be major problem on a 30Amp rig. You can't run the dryer, A/C, and microwave at the same time.
As previously mentioned, Splendides take FOREVER to wash and dry a really small load.
Do the ones with W/D prep come equipped with more amps? - AllworthExplorer IIPower cam be major problem on a 30Amp rig. You can't run the dryer, A/C, and microwave at the same time.

We found one today...used...that felt homey. The first one that we felt that way in...but it had no washer dryer prep. Is it possible to add them on?
Money will fix most things on an RV.Is there a money acronym for RV's like we use on BOATS,"Break Out Another Thousand"? - MookieKatExplorerOK...keep looking...
- WyoTravelerExplorerMuch easier and cheaper to add W/D if pre wired and plumbed. You need electric, drain, and venting. Plus nice to have pan drain under W/D. We were paying about $45 a month to use RV park W/Ds. Sometimes those machines were filthy. We like having a W/D in our RV. We had the factory add ours. Was cheaper than CW sales price.
- VulcaneerExplorerHow could it not be worth it? Lets see...Materials (without the appliance cost) for PVC, glues, PEX tubing, PEX tools, fittings, Wiring in a 20 Amp circuit breaker, with the needed wires, connectors, breaker, receptacles, etc. Then the time to do all the work. Then add in the price of the combo W/D (about $1300), the vent kit, Drain pan, hold downs, etc. Of course that is if you do it yourself. Then, do you have a place to set the W/D? In a closet? Count in the lost closet space. If you have it done for you take your cost, multiply by 2.5, add in the time it takes...maybe about 10 hours @ 100/hr.
Or compare going to the C/G laundry. Where you can use 2 or 3 machines at a time...and be done in two hours...at most. For $6.00 or less. Or use your own combo W/D and take 3 hours or so for a load of about 4 pounds. Or else find a trailer that is already set up, so you can just move the W/D in, plug it in and push button to start.
I just added a Splendide separate washer and dryer in my trailer. Which was all set up for it. Bought the washer on dryer on sale at CW. Had them install vent kit. Ands set appliances in place, with hold downs, and drain pan. I connected the hoses, drain, and electrical plug in's. Cost $1650. Which was $200 for CW labor. Took 3 hours. - RanduExplorerWow -- You went from the top level to the entry level in quality based on your posts of the last week. Don't forget the electrical and venting the dryer in addition to the plumbing. It might be better in the big picture to use the laundry at the campgrounds. Randu

If you post the brand, model, and year maybe someone who has that model and does have a washer/dryer would post a picture of theirs.
It is a 2011 Keystone Outback Sydney Edition 32FRL. I guess I need to post this question in the "mods" forum.
