Is our truck sufficient

We are new to camping. We purchased a 39.5 foot fifth wheel last fall. We also bought a brand new Ford 250 Super Duty Diesel. Now we are hearing conflicting advice on weather or not our truck is sufficient to pull the rig. Any advice? Everything we read says it's right on the line. Should have gotten a 350?
  • Your pin weight will be way too high for 3/4 ton. People overload all the time but I wouldn't overload that much personally.

Sorry to say it that bluntly. But without some weights your shooting in the dark. But even at the best of circumstances at 39 feet long that fiver could weigh way more that your Ford is rated for and pin weight could be way north of your load carrying capacity.

    X3 and well put.
You need a lot more truck.
  • Thank you for your advice really do appreciate your honesty.
