Is there a good way to transport a golf cart with a 5er?

I towed a SmartTrailer for a few years to carry our bikes on. It worked great with no backing issues. We've had many more problems with our 5th wheel tires than we did with the little tires on the tag-along. :)

In the long run it probably is cheaper to rent a golf cart. :)
