Is there a hitch adapter for a ball in the truck?

Not sure if I phrased my question properly but I hope it makes sense enough to get help. I recently purchased a new to me dually truck and there is ball already installed in the bed of the truck. ...

Curt releases by handle in wheel well,round shank but has TWO pins thru the ball shank..
