We feel your pain... We have the same unit as you and agree this is a bad design. Cleaning dishes becomes a back breaking chore. Never really thought about it until we went fulltime in January for a 2 year adventure RV'ing throughout the US. Since this was our 4th unit to purchase, we examined everything, except standing at the sink... we were too interested in the storage the kitchen provided. Grrrr... We still love this unit, but we did have the dealer make some changes... removed the dining table and added another couch and we purchased a kitchen island from Jayco.
