JT strongarm vs Bal

JT strongarm vs Bal
is one better than other. I see the JT has a swivel point does BAL also
I see the BAL on sale at PPL for 79.99. I guess that would be for 1 set. I need 2 sets for the front, and how many for rear.

price for JT is 220.00 for 6
Each set contains 6 Strong Arm stabilizer bars, and associated mounting hardware. Some Drilling is required. Note: Kit # 15-0359 is for 5th Wheels with less than 58" between electric landing jacks.

thanks

  • We have had steadyfast on both of our 5th wheels they were easy to install and stopped the movement we had before, the owner Paul was great to work with too answered all of our questions
  • WE have the BAL system. Came factory installed on our 5er. It is awesome but if I was to buy a kit it would be the JT. My BAL system uses crushed pipe ends where the JT uses welded pivot points. I installed a JT kit for my FIL and he loves it. THe JT kit is just beefier

  • just looked at camping world. on sale for 255 and there is an e-mail coupon for 50.00 off. good deal free shipping
  • I have the steadyfast now but had the JT's on the previous fiver and both worked well, wouldn't recomend one over the other.
  • I bought the Plug It Right version. I have had them for about 4 years on a very heavy 5th wheel, they are durable and sturdy and sold by a fellow RV'r and forum member.

  • I love the JT Strongarm..... works great when you set them up right....
  • We have the Steadyfast system on ours. Only three handles to turn and only took two hours to install. Works great.
