- BB_TXNomadLots of pieces. But the only hard part is drilling and tapping the frame to bolt the brackets on.
- ACZLExplorerTook my son and I a couple days to do and had to take the coach to a metal fab/welding shop to have them weld some flat stock in rear for rear arms to attach to.

Just got my JT strong arms in and....man there are lots of pieces..I'll post pics when done.
Merry Christmas 5th wheel...here is your present :B
Fortunately you don't use all the pieces. I had a small bag of leftover parts when I got done. I had trouble on the front roadside piece because it conflicted with the sewer pipe. For that, I just built an extension piece with uni-strut to move it off the frame a little. On the back, we have no cross-member, so I bolted a length of uni-strut across to make my own.
People often complain about having trouble drilling out the holes on the frame. Having a good drill, high quality bits, and the going at the apporpirate speed makes the task monumentally easier. FWIW, you get what you pay for...and I've never seen a drill bit that costs too much money. - Dave_H_MExplorer IIMy Laredo must have soft metal in the frame. the self tsp0ers go right thru it. :W
- NorskemanExplorerPurchase some good drill bits - drilling into the steel can be difficult
- RollandBExplorerJust like a box of Timker Toys, you will be happy with the results when you are finished. Keep all the extra pieces, they come in handy when you change trailers.
- oldtrojan66ExplorerI was on the phone to company a couple times during install. Bottom line, I think they have some issues on some brands/models. I have an 07 JAYCO Designer 36 RLTS and after waiting for several hours for a callback from tech folks, I ended up fashioning an extension to move mounting bolts out of the way of the scissors jack in the rear. The end result was successful and I do like the increased stability, but the install took a little "figgerin' "!
- JW_of_Opechee_SExplorerGo to YouTube and watch the video I brought the laptop out with me and would start and stop the video each step of the way. Your unit may not work exactly the same but will get it done.
- LearjetExplorerUpdate and observations:
Installed no issues.
This is a really nice kit and very well made heavy parts.
All those big stickers had to come off :)
I did an non-standard install in the back, had some unused holes that were the perfect size and good location for the aft supports. May change the angle later, although the aft stabilizer have more front to aft play then side to side.
Pics below: - MFLNomad IILooks great, always a good feeling when an install turns out to be easier than you may have thought.
