I like the fact that there's 140w solar STANDARD, FROM THE FACTORY! I still can't figure out why ONE company here doesn't offer an "off-grid" or "boondock" package, with factory-installed solar and extra batteries; maybe even larger holding tanks. I know, I know; got some bad weed years ago and it still causes flights of fancy...

Thanks , Lyle. Most people here would take this on graded dirt roads( reason for the shiny walls, to easily clean the unit) as well as normal roads
We like to boondock, so I'd be interested in something a lot more robust. Personally, I like a "bit of home" so am willing to put up with a bit of dust rather than the "Ikea look". Just my personal taste, is all. Also, given the state of most of our roads around here, some of our interstates could qualify as "off-road" routes, let alone secondary roads. Our normal camp site for our family boondocker has a stretch of road that I shift to 4LO to cross. I don't =need= to do this, but it's just a lot easier to do so. Total, for this site, is about 8 miles of dirt, but I'm not averse to a much longer drive on dirt, if the road's not too bad.
