Keystone 335tg Laredo quality?

My dad is looking at a new 2015 Laredo 335tg. I've been on keystonerv.org looking around. What is the general consensus around here in the Laredo line? Will the unit last 10 years with maintenance? Or is a lower quality unit?
  • Try Keystone rv forums. I'm a member there and some one will surely help you out.
  • I have a very similar Keystone, a 13 Sydney 340fbh. Same construction, similar layout and price point of the Cougar. I would say 10 years may be stretching it a bit but these rigs are considered mid price point. The main thing to be preventative on is leaks, roof and caulking integrity.
I have had mine through 3 seasons now and am happy with it. I do my best to keep it in good condition but does take a lot of effort. I have owned 6 rvs and would rate this on the upper end as far as quality goes compared to my previous.
The best thing to do is keep it clean, roof and slide caulk watched closely and keep out of direct sunlight if you can.
  • I've had 3 Keystones and had great luck with all of them but like all brands sometimes they kick out a Lemon ,if you like the layout get a good price and a good dealer jump on it and do a Thorough PDI before taking delivery
  • We sold our 2007 Laredo 29RL in April when we got our new Montana. It had been a very good unit and never went back to the dealer for anything. We spent over 600 nights in it and nothing failed. This unit was always stored indoors, climate controlled and looked like new when we sold it. I do believe it's the luck of the draw on any RV purchase now days.
  • I have a similar unit, 2015 Sprinter 324FWBHS. We bought it new last summer a haven't had any issues in the last year and half. I see no reason why 10 years would be unreasonable if well maintained. I think the Sprinter, Cougar, Laredo, etc seem like a lot of bang for the buck for the casual user like me.
  • We have a 2014 Laredo. Other than the front cap starting to fade it's been a good trailer.
  • Anything will last 10 years if you throw enough money at it to keep it well maintained. Let it go for a year or two and it's a whole different story.

    B.O.
  • Theres a Big difference as to how well an RV will stand up , based on usage and mileage.
