Keystone recall

Hello, I just got a new-to-me 2009 raptor 300mp. 5 days later I get a recall notice for the iota-50r transfer switch. Unfortunately the dealer I bought it from did not check for recalls and do the fix so now it would be a 2 hour drive back to them.

I am wondering if any one has had the work done and what was the old switch replaced with.
I would do the work myself if the price of fuel towing to and from the dealer equals the price of the part. In theory.

  • Make an appointment to have it changed the same day that works for both you and the service techs.....Spend the time waiting having fun somewhere....Relax, enjoy.
  • I was trying to remember but I can't. If I get out and about tomorrow I'll try to make it down and take a look.
  • Our Fuzion was still under warranty so Keystone insisted that it be done at a Keystone dealer. We took it a local dealer, not who we bought our toyhauler from as they were halfway across the company. No issues at all.

The only way to find out positively is to call Keystone and ask them. You can get opinions on here, but you know how much those are worth. :)
  • Any Keystone dealer should be able to do the recall work, check with Keystone to see about the closest dealer, save your drive.
