Landmark Monterey?

Anyone own one of these? It looks like they have discontinued this model. How livable is it? It must not have sold well, since they quit making them.
  • We've been living in our Landmark since it was new in 2011 and it has been a great coach.
  • When we were looking at 5th wheels to full time in the Landmark was 1 of 3 on the short list due to it's construction, livability etc.
  • Buddy of mine has a landmark 365 says he has stayed in it in cold weather but furnace still runs a lot. They are a well built trailer and pricey
  • I would suggest you go to the Heartland Owners forum and ask your questions. A lot of very knowledgeable folks about Heartland products. Also heat pumps only work down to abt 35 deg.

  • Yep. looks like it's been discontinued but there seem to some still on dealer's lots. Heartland says the Landmark brand is a 24/7 livable trailer. Personally I wouldn't want to live in one in Minnesnowta in the winter. If you do get one for cold weather use get it with air conditioners that are heat pumps. Then you don't have to burn up all your propane to keep warm. There are better full-time trailers out there but they're $$$$.
