Leaking hub seal on the spindle repairable if damaged? Pics

Long story short, these are brand new axles I bought from a dexter distributor fully assembled. At the first brake adjustment I noticed grease all around the hub and could see the seal leaking through...

Wow i had no clue the speedy sleeve existed!

Yes the large nick is right where the seal lip rides. You can catch a fingernail real easy in all the nicks. I have no clue how the damage got there. Maybe it was put together on a monday or a friday lol.
