Light switch

I have a switch in my bedroom with three distinct settings. For the life of me I can't figure out what it is. It looks like a traditional 120v light switch but with three settings. Any ideas?

  • Not going to have much luck trying to call Fleetwood.

First thing I would do is pull the switch and see what wires I'm dealing with. Then try to find where they go.
  • Our 2007 Laredo had one of those and it was a 120 volt switch. Since the camper had 30 amp service it would select between the microwave or fireplace but not both at the same time.
  • Perhaps the switch has several lights that it works with. One position turns on a certain light or two, another position turns on fewer or more lights, and the third position turns them all off?
  • Turns off the audio. That way you can have it on while getting ready for bed and even lying down, and just rech over to turn off rather than having to get out of bed to turn off.
  • Where in the bedroom is this switch located? If down on the side of the bed I have heard of that switch controlling the A/C in some fashion.

My older 5th wheel has the OUTSIDE SCARE lights switch installed in a strange place... Might flip the switches with someone outside watching the scare lights.

  • Keep in mind that just because you don't have a ceiling fan does not mean its not wired for one. Also you may want to contact the MFG. to find out what its for. Good Luck, and Happy Camping !!
