Lighting the Pilot Light in an Oven
Why, by all that is holy, do ovens light in the back? It makes it a two person ordeal. If the pilot was in the front, or even half-way it would make a lighting the oven a lot easier.

The reason they are located in back of oven is that is where the main flame first comes in contact with flame while flowing thru main burner.
Use one of them long BBQ lighters.
