Lighting the Pilot Light in an Oven
Why, by all that is holy, do ovens light in the back? It makes it a two person ordeal. If the pilot was in the front, or even half-way it would make a lighting the oven a lot easier.

I turn my gas on to about 200* and light 'er up.
Same here. DW actually taught me how to light it. Set the temp and stick the lighter in.
I used to do it the stupid way, holding the pilot button and waiting.
Actually SHE told me my way was the stupid way.
