My 2c worth ...
We previously owned a KZ Durango 1500 275 and we were very satisfied.
Some things to consider about lite weight units:
I) insulation value is low as the walls are thinner
II) lite framing i.e. around doors, windows etc. vs. a studded (house like) framing (can't remember the technical name)
III) Cupboards tend to be lower to the ground and not as deep as to not put too much strain on the walls
IV) Appliances tend to be smaller i.e. check the size of the oven, fridge size
V) Basement tends to be smaller, with smaller access doors (my pet peeve)
VI) Holding tanks & water heater tends to be smaller capacity
VII) Frames tend to be lighter in construction, could be subject to cracking or twisting depending on application
VIII) Less and shallower slide outs
IX) Typically will support only one pre-wired AC unit.
You also have lots on the plus side, typically lower to the ground and lower height creating less wind resistance, more economical pricing etc.
Bottom line, it is all a matter of preference and your intended use/application.
We loved our KZ but upgraded as part of our retirement plan.
Good luck. Enjoy !!!!

Having owned two ultr/x lites I am forced to disagree with several points starting with:
I. My walls on both are the same as many other campers I’ve looked at.
II. My Ultra Lite was made out of wood an I was surprised at how familiar the construction was to many houses today... jut 1 1/2” walls instead of 3 1/2”.
III. Nope. Not true. The material is different but size is the same. Cabinets don’t have a back side but use the wall instead. Just measured my S&B... my bottom cabinets are identical measurement and the upper cabinets are 3” shallower then the XLite in my yard plus the thickness of the back side of S&B cabinets.
IV. Exact same appliances except for residential frigerators.
V &VI. Agree.
VII. Possible ?
VIII. Nope my slide outs are so deep that when in there is 6” between them at the bottom on the XLite. My Ultra Lite had no slides. Yes, my closet slide is shallow. Same as most bedroom slides.
IX. My XLite is prewired for second a/c and has walkable roof and slides. The roof on my Ultra Lite did not.
My Ultra Lite was a low profile fifth wheel where there was 40” from floor to roof in the bedroom and one crawled into the bed from the foot. My XLite is mid profile so I cannot stand up along side the bed, only at the foot, needs an extra foot? of ceiling height. Heavier 5th wheels are taller outside and in so you can walk around the bed in the bedroom and higher off the ground on main floor to accommodate bigger, 16” tires instead of the smaller 15” tires.
