It is not recommended..think it happens in those OH S____! moments of distraction.
Wheel chocks!......first thing ON/last thing to be removed!
I lift my 5vr just until I see just a smidgen of clearance between the pin box/hitch plates. Then I undo 'emergency' brake cable, then trailer umbilical cord then pull hitch handle and drive out.
When hooking up I have pin box plate 1" lower than hitch plate so it rides up and into hitch. No chance of 'high hitching'
