That was why we traded up to a 3500 SRW diesel after the first couple of trips with the Titanium (13,800 GVWR) on a 2500 Ram diesel. Just not enough truck to feel comfortable and the scales were telling a sad story on the weights.
By the way, trading to a long bed crew cab, even though it takes a football field to U-turn, made a big difference in long day's comfort on the road.
I agree, you'd be close to your max limit just watch yourself. I think you're going to find out down the road that you'll find yourself "craving" a larger truck because that first RV is going to get "old" and a "new" (bigger) one will be wanted. :) forcing you into a larger truck. Just say'n.
Gotta start someplace tho.......
