Yes, if the loaded to camp FW, only weighed 10,000 lbs, you would be at your GVWR, since you only have 1,940 available payload left. You still have to take away 200 lbs more for the hitch, so 1,740 left for pin wt.
Many people tow over their trucks GVWR. You will have to decide if you want to do this. Is it safe? If not more than a few hundred lbs over, probably. You do not want to go over your RAWR!

- MFLNomad IIWith the truck weight subtracted from the 9,000 GVWR, you will have just short of 2,000 lbs to add. The hitch will be about 200 lbs. You will go over the GVWR of the truck. You will be close on the RAWR, but won't know for sure without weighing.
If you take 20% of the FW GVWR, it will give you an idea on pin wt. If you add 200 lbs for the hitch, you will be close to 3,000 lbs added to the rear axle wt.
Your truck will likely work for this trailer, but getting a smaller/lighter trailer, should be considered.
Jerry - NorthwestBoundExplorerDoor tag says gvwr 9000lbs, gawr frt 4750, rear 6010, internet says gcwr 20,000lbs.
- shinglers3ExplorerDo you know the GVWR and RAWR of the truck?
