LT tire upgrade Cougar 327RES
Has anyone out there upgraded tires to LT on this fiver or a similar model? I.e. going from 235/80R16 to 235/85R16. Just want to make sure there would be no concern with distance between tires or tire...

Not looking to spend a fortune as we will be trading in a year or two, so looking at going with something similar to the Coopers I am running on my truck.
Not to hijack this thread, but how do you like the Cougar? I'm looking at a 2012 tomorrow, Silver Package (whatever that is)? Do you like everything about your cougar, or would you change anything?
Overall, we really like it. The only modifications we made were substitution of a California King mattress for the queen that it came with and addition of an AC unit up front (highly recommend). The only real problem has been faded gelcoat on the front cap which is a known problem on many keystone products of that era. Btw, make sure to check the date codes on the tires as well. If they are original equipment, they will need to be replaced, so be sure to negotiate that into the deal if you can. Hope everything works out! Sorry I was so late with my reply.
