Lubing my toilet seal
Is there a specific lube to use on a toilet seal, or will basic "spa lube", used for lubing pool filter gaskets and o-rings, work? Lyle

We had a Carriage Cameo for 13 years and when we traded it in the seal was the original seal on the toilet and still functioning fine. I learned to clean the bowl, the seal and the plastic piece that opened and closed when you pushed on the foot pedal, with an old dish brush, 409 and baking soda. Once you have everything clean then I would use Vaseline, a good dab on the tip of my finger, run it around the seal on both sides and it would work for the rest of that camping season. I would have to repeat at the start of the next season.
