Lubing my toilet seal
Is there a specific lube to use on a toilet seal, or will basic "spa lube", used for lubing pool filter gaskets and o-rings, work? Lyle

As suggested, keeping some water in bowl will help. If water won't stay, you may be able to locate O-ring lube, although in a pinch, Vaseline may be OK, as was also suggested. In the past, I've tried vegetable oil, also, but I think it contributed to a mold growth after a while.
