I'm not trying to suggest that states shouldn't have the right to make and enforce laws. It should be fair and equitable in its application and enforcement. Why should a driver from another state be able to come into California and drive a combination of vehicles legally that I cannot with the same class license in my own state? This is just wrong and short sighted on the California Legislatures part.
Additionally, would you rather there not be a Federal Reciprocity law that allows you the ability to drive anywhere in the nation without a patchwork of license requirements?
