When I ride my motorcycle in California why do I have to wear a helmet? I don't have to in my home state. IL is a free state. Helmets not required here. It's not fair. I'm a resident of IL, not Calif. I shouldn't have to obey Calif law.
Any other California state laws you want to apply in your state but not others?
States are free to set their own licensing standards, to a point. If you don't like it then you have 2 options. Move or petition your legislator to change California law. Otherwise you got what you got because *YOUR* state legislature says so.
