Looking for the best 15" tire I can find. Any experience/advice on Maxxis: M8008 ST Radial load range E?
Along with azjeffh there has been 25 other RV.net member who have reported issues with Maxxis ST8008 tires.
They do seem to be the most popular of the ST tire brands on the open roads forums ........and not so popular on other trailering websites. - laknoxNomad

I've had Maxxis 16" LR-E tires on my 5er since July 2014. Have only put about 3-4000 miles on them so far, but everything is fine so far.
By the end of this year, they will have picked up another 6-8000 miles and I'll post my experience with them at that time (I full time).
FYI - All ST tires are speed rated to 65 MPH.
Carlisle RLH is rated to 87 mph, IIRC.

Maxxis is the best thing going for an ST tire that size.

- fla-gypsyExplorerI have used the Maxxis ST tires for many years with excellent results. Currently have the LRE but have also used the D as well.
- donn0128Explorer IIAlso look at Salun tires. They seem to be getting good reviews among those that want/need ST tires.
- dpamExplorerI have 16 inch Maxxis tires on our Montana for 4 years with approximately 16K miles on them. Great ST tires, however they will be 5 yrs old in 2016, so I plan to replace them with possibly Sailun tires. Nothing wrong with the current Maxxis, but I'm told that most tires on trailers tend to be at risk for failure after they are 5 yrs old.
In my opinion I feel Maxxis is one of the best ST tires. The only negative is they are rated for only 65 MPH. - kopy_katExplorerI replaced my stock c rated tires at about 200 miles with the Maxxis e rated-no problems with several thousand miles on them now.
I do carry 2 extra e rated cheaper tires from Les Schwab tires as backups though...
I bought the Maxxis through Discount Tires.
Happy trails, Larry - azjeffhExplorerMy ~2 year old tires 15” LRE’s experienced sidewall separation. First one tire, then another (within miles of each other). Discount replaced all 4 since the other 2 were looking bad.
I will say I was running them at 70 psi but that should have been enough to carry the ~1950 lbs per tire. And yes, I’ve had each tire weighed individually. I also use a TPMS which first alerted me to the issue.
Others have had good luck but just thought I'd let you know not everyone does.
Have switched to 16" LT's now.
