I've owned two sets of Maxxis tires and they were both fantastic. Any tire manufacturer can fail...my last set of Michelin tires were the worst set of tires I have ever owned on my car. Lots of folks swear by them though so surely my experience was unique. Maxxis is no different. The warranty is pretty good and they will stand behind the product. For me, the Maxxis M8008 is the only ST trailer tire I will put on my trailers. I would probably step up to LT tires before I did anything else.
I do not think folks really understand how much of a beating trailer tires take. Curbing, sidewall srubbing from turning too tight... unbalanced loads....overloaded tires...too much speed...old age...great lack of use followed by a sudden demand to roll at 65-75 MPH for 10-12 hours or more...life is rough for a trailer tire
Thanks!
