So it appears the lower speed rating of an ST tire allows them to increase the load rating a proportional amount. I think an LT load range E tire @ 80 PSI is typically just over 3000 LBS.,while a similar ST tire would be around 3400 LBS., but the LT tire is speed rated much higher(some over 100 MPH). So, is speed rating and load rating being directly proportional, a tire truth?
