Measurement of Length

OK I just about landed a great deal...2005 Everest model 293p.
Per the specs it shows the coach at 32.10ft. When I asked the owner to measure it comes to 37ft????? I know the Model number is never the real length. But when the specs call out something 5 feet shorter???? What gives?? We really want to stay under total of 34ft knowing that part of that measurement goes over the bed we are thinking we will more campgrounds..state parks and so forth. So it looks like the 5 ft diff is in the overhang? So when I see the length listed what am I to expect? that it really is only to the overhang? The I have another seller that says his measurement is from the tip of the hitch to the bumper.

  • I meant that the actual total is 37 ft and the specs call out 32ft for the entire length. I didn't mean to infer that the model number means anything but a code.
  • When dealing with fifth wheels, the number in the model is just that, ONLY A NUMBER.. our 38RL is 41’5”

Someone once told me that the number in the model # represents the inside living length, but really don’t care to measure.

Heck, my BIL’s Jayco 33 is close to 38’ long....
