Really if it's just opinion then why do some of the top manufacturers install LT from the factory and other manufacturers install ST tires.
As has been said numerous time the tires are usually the lowest bidder spec'd component.
I term the ST tires simply as "delivery tires". I have seen the exact same tire used on park models as it is on pull behind towable recreational trailers.
Now tell me you don't want a better tire than what is put on a park model that is towed once to it's park site and then never moves again.
I want a better tire than that unless I am only towing 40 or 50 miles 3 or 4 times a summer.
