Sorry, been under the weather the last few weeks - Heart valve replacement - Been reading a lot of posts. You are right, I just missed the earlier post.

Get well soon. Hope you get back 100 percent.
  • First two digits are the week number. Last two digits are the year.

    So everything from:
    B3JH AKEX 0210 (week #2, 2010)
    To
    B3JH AKEX 2512 (week 25, 2012)

even though its a old post, thanks I missed it, cold here in ohio but I just went out and read mine.my dot code is B 3 J H can some one tell me the age?? never learned to read the code. I know there old I bought the rv in 2007 new.

There are three sets of 4-digit codes in a row on the tire.

The "DOT Sequence" of B3JH AKEX represents the manufacturing location that made the bad tires. Both of these sets must match the recall.

DOT Production period 0210 2512 (2-digit for week and 2-digit or year) meaning bad tires were produced between week 2 of 2010 and week 25 of 2012 inclusive.

For an example; my tires were "M3JH AEEX with 4411". Not on the recall list since made at a different location but during the same time frame with week 44 of 2011.

Airstream offers that tire as an option with their Eddie Bauer edition travel trailer.

  • It's the recall posted back in December 2013 on RV.Net.

Evidently "FastEagle" is flying slow and missed the earlier post. :B

It may still be relevant for any others who missed it then, so no problem with posting it again now.

  • Is this a new one?
Hasn't there been a Michelin recall around for some time now?
