Dunno what's meant by "silent recall", but here's one that was right out loud:
As I remember his story, it was a voluntary mfr. recall of some OE ST's on his fiver that led ShelterBay Chris ("Me Again") to his first set of Michelin Ribs. I remember his account of getting the recall notice, and putting the full refund he received down on those Ribs.

As if you can call a silent recall a recall.- There's two recalls, one (12/13/2013) on Michelin LTX M/S LT 225/75R16 115/112R LRE
And an earlier one (7/22/2013) on the following:
MICHELIN LTX M/S 2: P275/55R20 111T RBL, P265/65R18 112T and P265/60R18 109T ORWL
MICHELIN X Radial LT2: P265/65R18 112T and P275/55R20 111T
MICHELIN Latitude Tour: P255/60R19 108S and P255/70R18 112T

:B- Thanks for the post. I believe I've got 6 of those on the dually. Free new tires! That sounds good.
- Yep, I have 6 of 'em that is part of the recall. We purchased ours in mid 2010, and I've verified the DOT Sequence. Next step is to get the appt set up & get it done. I'll report back on the replacement tires.

YES Michelin has recall.
This one for 16" Jan/2010 thru June/2013
And for some 'P' and 'LT' in 18", 19" & 20" Sept/2012 thru June/2013
Both recalls were previously posted yesterday

Good to see a great tire mfg. step up and do it voluntarily
