- Landroamer1ExplorerI use the lights fairly often but the birds seem to like to set on the pinbox and poop all over it while admiring themselves in the mirror
- phillygExplorer IINo deal breaker for me.
- BB_TXNomadI suppose the mirror usefullness would have to do with how well the driver can see the hitch from the driver's seat. In my case, I can easily see my hitch thru the back window and have never used the mirror. For a shorter person or something in the bed partially blocking the view and not being able to see the hitch well it might come in handy.

Got it....don't use it! With 2 of us hooking up I think it's easier when one is watching.

I guess I am just too independent, I never need DW help to hitch or back up. How do you deal with it when she isn't around?
Not that it doesn't work for you just fine, I just never thought of hooking up a fiver a two person job, must be carry over from TT days.
Independence is definitely an admirable trait, but teamwork makes it go faster and its more fun. We travel together so we work together. When I was incapacitated and DH had to go it alone, he managed just fine, I like being familiar with the attaching and unhooking. - rhagfoExplorer III

- greendeExplorer IIRarely use the light but I use the mirror all the time. Either one would not be a deal breaker though.
- rjsurferExplorerIn 8 years I've never used it.

How important is this feature? I see that some have these and some don't. Should we factor this into our decision-making process?
Real important to factor into your decision. As they create more places for water to get into.
As far as being functional, not so much IMO. - GramaofAAAAExplorerGot it....don't use it! With 2 of us hooking up I think it's easier when one is watching.
