Look at all big trucks mirrors,whether a semi or a straight truck and there is your answer. Their mirrors are not narrower than their beds/trailers. The bus I drive has 6 mirrors on the outside so I can see across the front and down the sides of it real good. My TV has towing mirrors and I will not be without them.
