Modification to landing legs to raise them without bending

What I am looking to do is put some chain or wire on my front landing legs that would allow me to hook the chain / wire with a hook and raise the leg without me having to bend or get down on my knee to lift it. Due to health issues it is difficult for me to get up and down for this task.

In order to raise them the chain / wire would almost have to be attached somehow to all four corners of the landing pad I believe otherwise it would bind when pulled only from one side.

Has anyone done this type of modification and if so can you share the details?

Thanks!

Dave

If attached to the pivot point of the foot, should only need that single attachment point.
You would need a second to pull out the pin also.

    Thank you for the response!

Is there any chance you could post a picture?

I installed the snap pins which are high enough for me to reach

    Thanks again!

I have not done, but this has got me thinking, my issue isn't health or fitness, but getting my knees dirty.
It may require some fabrication or a good hunt at the hardware store.
Likely an Ace or True Value.
