Mor/Ryde or Demco Pin Box

We have been thinking about purchasing a new pin box to absorb some front to back bucking we get on some roads. We would appreciate some input on how good these units are. Thanks Mark

  • We have had both and they both did the job. Sometime the road is just so bad, you are going to have a rough ride. Nothing will help.
  • I haven't had a demco but I like my Mor/Ryde. Better then the 5 th airbornes I had on previous trailers. No air bags to leak. Good Luck.
  • Took the Demco off and put on a Trail-air. Great ride now.
  • I have had both and haven't noticed any difference between them. One or the other helps the ride considerably.

  • Demco on previous trailer worked so well compared to solid pin box I took the TrailAir pin box off our current trailer and installed a Demco. Unless something better is available, will do it again on the next one when that time comes.
  • We have the MOR/ryde and it does a pretty good job in reducing chucking, but we still were getting the bounding of the pin coming down and hitting the hitch. We bought a Trailer Saver air hitch and the two are a great combination. Not sure if we would need the MOR/ryde with the air hitch but we have it so I can’t tell you what it would be like without it.
  • We have a Demco Glide Ride which came with our trailer and I have to assume it works since we have no experience without it. We still got some bucking so I added a set of Air Lift air bags to the truck and that helped some. We would still have a problem on especially rough roads, which seem to more common lately. A little drastic but it bothered us enough that I have sold our GMC 3500 single rear wheel with the standard bed and ordered a crew cab, long bed dually. If that doesn't solve the problem maybe I don't need to be doing this.
