I used 6" PVC pipe and standard 6" fittings including 6" galvanized pipe clamps to attach pipe beneath rig. Very simple,no need to be creative with securing the end of the tube. Just screw on plug to close end.
I have 2-6" PVC tubes attached beneath rig. One for fishing rods and 1 for sewer hose.
