I haven't mounted them yet because they're just so dang perfectly fitting along either side of my B&W hitch and fit my truck bed.
I used the same 5" PVC post cover and caps (Home Depot had the 5" post cover for $24.97) - but mounted mine to the top of the bumper with 48" nylon zip ties. I like the fact that it holds the sewer hose and all its bayonet fittings. I didn't go with the gutter (but good idea!) - I'll just use the awning rod to fish it out if it wanders too far. Mine is about 5'6" long because it doesn't fit under the ladder.
