my first oregon trip

We have planed an 8 day stay in coosebay oregon and was wondering from others here who have been there what is there to do and see around that area,or within driving distance for the day,we will be staying at the Mill casino rv park and would like to know of the "must see and must do" things. Thanks in advanced for the recommendations. By the way, we'll have our 8yd boy and 11yd daughter.

    You might consider renting ATV's and make a run to the dunes, my family has a blast out there. There are several beaches, most have easy access. The drive either north or south is good, lots of scenery to see. We liked Oceanside RV Park when we stayed there, they have a great and very private beach that is just a short walk. If the tide allows, there is a cave worth seeing. Anyway, enjoy. JH
