Just a guess, maybe more. Electrician may find reason to pull new wire, conduit etc to meet current code. Add $100+ if you want a city inspection permit.
Make dang sure the electrician knows you need 120 volts ONLY. Have him show you the meter when he tests it for you. Even have him stand by while you plug in.
