2015 GMC & CHEV 2500HD are good up to 17,200 with the ext cab 8' bed

Most likely a 17200lb fiver will put at least 3500lbs on the pin. Add to that a 200lb hitch and 400 lbs for passengers and your at 4100lbs of payload. Too much for a 3/4 ton.

3500 SRW is not a 3/4 ton.
