More than a year ago, I took most of the advice on here and got a 3500 diesel dually. I have never pulled a 5er with anything else, but I have never regretted following that dually advice. I pull a Cedar Creek 34RLSA with the 7000 # axles and G rated tires. Pin weight of that thing loaded really surprised me: 3750# (weighed). Also, living in Texas and driving through Oklahoma, the cross-winds can be tough. That dually keeps me tracking straight down the road. So, thanks to everyone for the dually advice and I'll pass that same advice along to you. Happy RVing!
