Need new GPS looking at RV GPS what do you like

Our old GPS is on the blink so need a new one. Never had one for RV just one's for car. SO looking for RV GPS now. Have always had Garmin as we are from KS & was told years ago they were more user frindly. Looking at Garmin RV 760LMT $399, camping world has Good Sam GPS $329, also has Magellan RoadMate RV9145-LM $249.

So if y'all could tell me what you got & how you like it would help.

I'm a Garmin fan - have automotive, handheld and aviation units that I use regularly.
I don't think there's anything special for RV vs any other automotive application... perhaps some additional database features for RV parks, et al maybe? Databases can be updated easily on most if not all GPS units.

My understanding was you program your height, width and length and it keep you out of places you don't want to be in. Like the units the truckers use. I don't want to go thru some little road that a car fits fine to find a 9' bridge, on a one way road with no exits.

    Thanks! That would be useful!

  • Mine isn't made anymore but I like the voice commands along with a larger than normal screen.

I'm using a Rand McNally RVND 7710 GPS. I've been very pleased. It has been replaced with the RVND 7720.

I used Garmin GPS's for many years.

If I were buying a GPS today I'd get a Rand McNally RVND 7720.

X2 We also are happy with the Rand McNally. Have the 7710
