I live in a small farm town, I went with what the local shop sells everyone else, he sells quite a few of these every week.
A small shop could tank around these parts if they were selling problems to people.
Don't see any place where you posted size.......... - Us_out_WestExplorerWe got rid of the factory supplied 'E' Marathons a few years ago.
Why?? We wanted better saftey and piece of mind in our travels.
What did we choose? Sailun G's that have been discussed here before. The tires have been wearing great and we don't travel just once in awhile. No leaks and after checking pressure before every departure I have to say I am gladly suprised that the tires are within a # or 2 of when we arrived at our destination.
I agree about questioning buying China made products...would love everything to be made here but that is not a reality...right now.
Here is something to read...the Sailun Challenge..
Safe travels everyone. MudChucker wrote:
China manufacturers to the customer spec, it's not china's fault ;)
That's the problem... China doesn't manufacture to the customers spec. Try buying raw Titanium from China with certificates to back it up. Machine marine connectors from it and watch it either break from normal stress or rust. You can't trust these guys with raw materials not alone a finished product.- MudChuckerExplorer

Any tire made in China is a "China bomb" and I'll avoid them at all expense. Sailun was on the short list but after I found out they're made in China they are no longer an option.
HMMMM, what about your foreign owned Michelin's?
Sorry had to say that!
I've run Michelin XPS Ribs and XTAs under our 5th wheels and all types of Michelins on our vehicles and have never had any that were made in China.

Yes, very true. Every Michelin tire I have bought and there have plenty have all been USA, BFG's included. - MudChuckerExplorer
China manufacturers to the customer spec, it's not china's fault ;) this is my small deck trailer, it's running the Carlisle China bombs, it scales at 15k pounds and takes a beating on gravel roads. I keep the air pressures at 80 psi and they have 20k miles on them now.
Maybe it's not the tire that's the problem? Cummins12V98 wrote:
