New Grand Design Reflections RS29

6 more days till we close the deal and have our PDI. The challenge is going to be getting our Laredo out of the back yard with all the snow so we can trade it in, and no warming trend anytime soon to start the spring melt! Can't even think about taking possession of the new rig till then. No way will we be able to get it in our yard!!

Ugh....I'm so over this winter weather!!

We signed for a 29RS today. Waiting for PDI.

I sure wish the sales and dealer staff would be straight with you, they told enough little fibs that I tend to not believe anything they say at this point. The question I have is for what purpose. I do not get it, the old adage is that you always get caught. And they were stretching the truth on things that made no difference.

Be honest, set expectations, live up to them and when something comes up start again with be honest. I think that's all most people are looking for.

The good news is that I am hoping to only see the dealer a couple of times (PDI and I am sure a time or two for warranty). If there was another near by Sacramento I would have gone there instead.

On to happy trails and good by to the Tahoe Wide Lite who for 14 trusty years took us near and far..

I hear ya about the "not buying anything today". We went to just "look" at puppies last weekend. Our new pup will be joining us in about 3-4 weeks.

I do have both the GD forum and facebook in my favorites! Now I need to figure out how to update my profile!!

That's one thing that has me especially excited is reading how much everyone loves their RV and the great customer service they have incurred!!! The GD models were the first RV's we saw at the Macomb show here in Michigan, and after looking at everything else there, I just couldn't stop thinking how much I liked the Reflection! Lol.....Hubs told me......"we are NOT buying anything today!!!"......well, about 30 minutes later we were haggling with the sales guy......then finalizing the deal with a down payment! Good thing I carry salt & pepper with me! Makes eating those words a little easier! Hahaha

Congratulations.. You made a great decision on purchasing a Grand Design RV. We've had ours for almost two years. Sorry fo hear about all the snow, we're down in sunny Yuma Az. right now enjoying 80 degree temperatures.

Grand Design Reflections became our official #1 candidate (after the Houston RV show in early Feb) for our new rig that we will purchase later this year or early 2016.

The first is the Grand Design RV Owners Forum. This forum is privately run by a Grand Design customer. He charges a nominal fee to maintain the website and it has invaluable information.

We actually put our down payment on it in Jan....it arrived this past week from the plant and wouldn't you know this is going to be the winter that lasts forever!!! SMH....seems like i'm getting a lesson on patience! Ok...lesson learned...lol...can we have spring now?
