New Rig. Yay!

I'd like to thank everyone in Fifth Wheels (and also Tow Vehicles) who helped me out with answers to my new-guy questions over the past few weeks. I was a lot more prepared to take delivery of this new fifth-wheel toy hauler than I was when we picked up our bumper pull 12 years ago. The drive home with this truck/trailer combo was simple compared to 12 years ago. Some of that comes from experience towing my previous rig, but I think a fair amount of credit goes to the improvements that Dodge has made in their RAM line. The new Tow/Haul mode and the exhaust brake with the funny flatulence icon are downright dreamy.

We'll get the dreaded shakedown trip out of the way this weekend and then we can go out and start having fun with it.

    It's definitely nose high. I'll work on that this week. There's still plenty of bed rail clearance to bring it down.

    Wow, that is a big rig! If the tow home was simple, yes, you sure do have the right tools for the job.

    Very nice colors too. Those rich, dark truck colors are beautiful. I just get white, due to sun, keeping clean, but thats just me.

    Nice, very nice, sure is a behemoth. I like your TV (go Cummins), is it in Western Brown?
